Brazil's biodiversity!

I just found this terribly interesting.
this spiders adaptations are incredible!
Fishing spiders of the genus Ancylometes are commonly found near ponds and small lakes in São Paulo State. The spider's legs have tiny air-trapping hairs that enable it to scurry over the surface of a pond in a fashion similar to that employed by water striders.

Can you spot the snake?

This tiny orange frog, known as Brachycephalus pitanga, is one of the many new species discovered in São Paulo State's Atlantic rainforest thanks to BIOTA/FAPESP's efforts. It's about the size of a fingernail (about a half-inch or 1 centimeter long) and is poisonous.
